- (a) Name:The name of the group is mchanganyiko women self help group(M.W.S.H.G) Duly regesterd as a community based organization (CBO) with the ministry of culture and social services.The group meet once a month at 11.00 am-12.30pm at mchanganyiko’s hall.
(b)Location: The organization is found in makina ward Kibera division,karanja road adjusent to the muslim cementry-Kibera,found in Langata District.The contacts are 0710 381176/0731258447.
(c) Group base:The activities of the group are based in mchanganyiko premises and occassional outside the field activities,found on the above adress.
2.a) Objectives: The objectives of mchanganyiko women self help group as constituted in the new constitution stipulate that:
1) To educate and exchange ideas on real life issues through forums and seminars.
ii)To initiate women and youth projectas and modalities to implement projects.
iii)To alliviate the problem of over dependence and channel an avenue through which women and the general community can make meaningfull changes in their society
1v) To create awareness in HIV/AIDS and finding ways of combating the epidemic.
b.)Mission: To make meaningfull changes at the grassroot level,especially on issues dealing with women ,children and the society’s socio-economically vulnerable.
c.)Vision:To inculcate the value of education dynamism in socio-economic Development at the grassroot level,through the initiation of varoius project in the community for self sustainance.
